Fort Andross
(next to Frontier Cafe)
14 Maine Street, Brunswick
Directions:
Fort Andross is a mill complex located on the Androscoggin River in Brunswick, at the foot of Maine Street as Routes 24 and 196 meet Route 1. Once known as the Cabot Mill, it was renamed "Fort Andross" after the original fort built there in 1688.
Enter the Fort Andross tower -- it is the tower closest to Maine
St. -- through the large wooden doors.
Make your way to the Elevator Lobby and locate the
FRONTIER sandwich board sign -- it will direct you
RIGHT and down a hall. Turn LEFT at the first
intersection and look for another sandwich board
farther down that hall.
Continue to make your way back toward Frontier.
The Coleman Burke Gallery is on your left just
before the entrance to the Frontier Cafe.
